ACSP Member Commitment

As a member of the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals (ACSP), I commit to upholding the values and mission of the organization with integrity, professionalism, and respect. I pledge:

  1. To represent ACSP positively in my professional and public interactions.
  2. To participate actively in ACSP programs, events, and initiatives whenever possible.
  3. To familiarize myself with the organization’s mission, policies, and key initiatives so I can be an informed and  supportive member.
  4. To come prepared when participating in meetings, forums, or discussions, having reviewed any relevant materials in advance when provided.
  5. To respect the confidentiality of information shared in ACSP forums, member communities, or working groups.
  6. To conduct myself with courtesy and professionalism in all ACSP-related interactions, both in-person and online.
  7. To respect the diverse views of fellow members, leadership, and volunteers, and engage in open, constructive dialogue.
  8. To act in the best interest of the organization, its membership, and the professional community it serves.
  9. To share ideas, insights, and feedback that may benefit the organization, its programs, or the industry at large.
  10. To avoid real or perceived conflicts of interest when participating in ACSP activities or representing the organization.
  11. To honor the responsibilities and boundaries of ACSP committees, staff, and leadership as defined by their roles. If I have concerns or disagree with decisions or actions taken through ACSP’s established processes, I will share my feedback constructively by reaching out directly to a Board member so my perspective can be thoughtfully considered.
  12. To act in compliance with applicable laws and protect the reputation and resources of the organization.
